ROG’s Tessen Controller is a Pocket-friendly Mobile Gaming Accessory
ASUS’s ROG brand is known for offering folks a wide ranger of gaming peripherals, and the company once again expanded its lineup with the introduction of the ROG Tessen, a foldable mobile controller. Compatible with Android devices, the Tessen comes with a ton of useful features.
Primarily designed for landscape orientation, the controller connects via USB-C to your smartphone (with 18W pass-through charging), and packs basically a complete controller experience with all the necessary buttons. This includes an 18mm right stick, ergonomic hand grips, as well as action buttons and a D-pad setup that feature mechanical switches for better feedback.
Additionally, the Tessen also features two aluminum rear paddles that can be programmed on the fly for more complex controls, something not usually found on most smartphone gaming controllers on the market right now. Players can also customize other controls and even lighting effects via the ROG Button and Armoury Crate app.
Speaking of lighting effects, the controller also comes with built-in Aura RGB lighting, a signature trait of ROG’s gaming peripherals. For price, the ROG will cost around $110 when converted.
