The Google Pixel 8a will be launching soon. It is rumored that the handset will make an appearance at Google I/O 2024 next month. In the meantime, thanks to a post on X by tipster Arsene Lupin, fresh renders of the Pixel 8a have made their way online giving us a clearer look at what to expect.
This isn’t the first time we’re seeing leaked renders of the Pixel 8a. These new renders are cleaner and sharper and also show off the phone from various angles. It also seemingly confirms the various color options that we can look forward to. This includes Obsidian, Mint, Porcelain, and Bay.

We’re not sure if those are the official/final names for the color options, but the renders do show them in a similar finish. In terms of design, Google has kept its trademark camera bump on the back. The phone appears to be slightly rounder compared to the Pixel 7a, but it will maintain the same large bezels.
The rumored specs of the phone include the use of the Tensor G3 chipset. This is the same chipset in the Pixel 8 series. This means that customers can expect similar levels of performance. The handset is also rumored to sport a dual camera setup and will probably use the same camera processing software as Google’s other phones.
