If you’re in the market for a new budget smartphone, Motorola might have something for you. The company is reportedly working on a new budget handset in the form of the Moto G Power 5G (2024), the successor to last year’s model, and now benchmarks have leaked the specs of the phone.
According to the benchmarks, it confirms some of the previous rumors. This includes the use of the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. It will also come with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 out of the box. The benchmarks don’t reveal the battery size of the phone, but assuming it’s based on the 2023 model, we should expect a similar 5,000mAh battery.
Some of the previous rumors of the specs of the Moto G Power 5G (2024) include the use of a 6.7-inch display. It will also support 30W charging, and it will be available in an “Orchid Tint” and “Outer Space” finish. The leaked renders we’ve seen also suggests a slight change to the design of the camera module.
Other than that, we’re not sure what else to expect. The 2023 model was announced around April 2023, so maybe we’ll have more information next month. Hopefully Motorola will also maintain the same $299 price tag.
