Microsoft Teases Special Product Event for March

0

Following reports that it might unveil new Surface devices later this month, it looks like Microsoft has finally confirmed an upcoming event scheduled later this month, which covers both hardware and software products. The company did give a tiny preview of which products it will be unveiling, via a teaser page on its website:

Advancing the new era of work with Copilot.

Tune in here for the latest in scaling AI in your environment with Copilot, Windows, and Surface.

It was previously reported that the company is preparing to launch new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 hardware, aimed at business and commercial customers. Additionally, it’s expected that the new devices might only feature minor spec bumps for the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 commercial models, although a “larger redesign” is expected for the consumer models of both devices, which includes a new OLED display for the consumer-grade model of the Surface Pro 10.

With that in mind, it’s safe to say that we can probably expect new Surface products to appear once Microsoft holds its event, which will be streamed on March 21, 2024 at 9:00am PDT.
