HTC VIVE Launches VIVE XR Elite for Business Enterprises

With MWC 2024 almost over, we’ve gotten the chance to witness a ton of new announcements from big tech brands, and while one might argue that a lot of the “exciting” parts revolve around new smartphones and such, this isn’t always the case – take for example HTC VIVE’s new announcement, which brings XR technology to the enterprise and industry space.

More specifically, HTC VIVE announced that it will be launching new enterprise features for the VIVE XR Elite Business Edition, including Location Based Software Suite support, and VIVE Business+ for easier fleet management content deployment.

Additionally, the VIVE XR Elite Business Edition will also come with physical accessories for more specific use cases, including enhanced comfort for longer sessions and such. These include a new face gasket designed for high-user turnover scenarios like LBE, a new over-the-top headstrap for better comfort, including security clips to secure the battery cradle.

VIVE added that it will be launching a new 5-in-1 USB-C dock for the VIVE Ultimate Tracker, allowing five units to be charged simultaneously, and is ideal for LBEs, group training, motion capture, and more.
