Tecno might be known for their foldable phones. But if you’re looking for a gaming smartphone, it looks like Tecno might have something for you. At MWC 2024, the company has taken the wraps off their latest handset, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G.

We know that the handset is being marketed as a gaming and entertainment device, but honestly with its specs, it’s great for just about anyone. In fact, if you prioritize battery life in a smartphone, the Pova 6 Pro 5G packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that will last you the entire day and then some.

It also supports 70W Ultra Charge that the company claims will get it up to 50% in 20 minutes, and 100% in 50 minutes, which is pretty impressive. It also has a Super Endurance Power feature. This lets you squeeze out an extra 20 minutes when the phone’s almost dead just to let you fire off some quick text messages and finish up whatever you’re doing.

The phone itself comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 5G chipset with 8-12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has what Tecno is calling Dynamic-Eye Design. These are a series of mini LEDs on the back of the phone that can be customized to your needs. This includes notifications for messages, emails, phone calls, and more.

The cameras on the phone include a 108MP main shooter along with a 32MP front-facing shooter. The company did not mention price just yet. It will be initially released in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and India at the end of February. After that it will make its way to Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
