Developing AI models is hard work. It requires a lot of training, resources, and know-how. To build an AI model from scratch isn’t exactly a walk in the park. This is why Qualcomm has announced its new AI Hub. This is a library of over 75 pre-optimized AI models that developers can use to easily integrate AI into their apps.
When Qualcomm introduced their new chipsets, there was a lot of focus on its AI capabilities. The problem is that while these chipsets can process AI, it’s up to handset makers and developers to find their own AI models and tools. This is where the Qualcomm AI Hub comes in.
By providing developers with access to AI models, it will allow them to quickly integrate AI into their apps. This reduces time-to-market. Plus since these models have already been pre-optimized for Qualcomm’s chipsets, developers know that it will work seamlessly with Qualcomm-powered phones and tablets.
The Qualcomm AI Hub includes models such as Whisper, ControlNet, Stable Diffusion, and Baichuan 7B. Of course, developers are free to choose and develop their own AI models. What Qualcomm is doing here is making it easier. This could be useful for smaller developers who don’t have the time or resources to develop something of their own.
Developers who are interested can find these models on the Qualcomm AI Hub, GitHub, and Hugging Face.
