More specifically, online retailer pages in markets including Germany and the Netherlands have posted the watch, which is going for around 199.99 to 219.99 Euros depending on the region. In terms of hardware, the Xiaomi Watch 2 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 quad-core SoC, and will feature 5 ATM waterproofing, and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display.
In terms of connectivity, the watch will support WiFi, NFC, GPS and GNSS, although there’s no mention of LTE connectivity, which seems to be reserved for the Pro model. Another key difference is the lack of a rotating crown, as the base model Watch 2 will instead come with action buttons for navigation, in addition to the touch display.
