Latest OnePlus 11 update is causing camera issues for some users

0

OnePlus recently pushed out an update to the OnePlus 11 over the weekend. Updates are usually a good thing, but in this case, some OnePlus 11 owners are finding that the update is causing camera issues on their phones.

According to user complaints made on the OnePlus Community forums, these issues range from photos not being saved or that the camera app keeps crashing after taking a couple of photos. This can be annoying as it renders the app unusable. Given how much we rely on our phones and cameras, it is understandable that some users are upset.

Android Central has reached out to OnePlus who then told the publication that the problem is being investigated. At the moment there is no fix or workaround available. If you haven’t updated to the latest version of OxygenOS 14, then you might want to hold off for now. This is because the previous version of the update has no issues with the cameras.

Speculation has arisen that perhaps the latest update introduced something new which is causing camera issues on the OnePlus 11. Meanwhile, if you are affected by this, you’ll need to download a third-party camera app to continue taking photos. Hopefully, OnePlus will address this problem soon and release a fix.
