Users looking for a fully-compatible version of Google Chrome for Windows on Arm might be in luck – it looks like the company is preparing to bring over the Google Chrome browser to computers running Windows 11 Arm, as spotted online by user Pedro Justo.
With that in mind, a native version of Google Chrome for Arm devices should ideally provide a much better web browsing experience, with significantly reduced lag and issues with performance. According to a report from the team over the The Verge, the Chrome “Canary” Version in question does indeed run on ARM64.
This comes as a surprise as Google didn’t previously mention upcoming support for Windows on Arm, although this new finding is a much-welcome surprise for many. By comparison, Microsoft’s Edge browser has long had a version that’s compatible with devices on Arm.
