If you’re looking for earbuds for the gym, there are plenty of water and sweat-resistant earbuds out there. But if you’re looking for earbuds that can do more than just play your favorite gym-pumping music, then the Sennheiser Momentum Sport earbuds could be what you’re looking for.
The Sennheiser Momentum Sport earbuds feature an IP55 rating for both water and dust-resistance. They should be durable enough to handle a bit of sweat and a wipe down if necessary.
One of the main selling points of the earbuds is how it comes with fitness-related tech built into it. We’re talking about the inclusion of a photoplethysmography (PPG) heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor. This will send data from the earbuds to compatible apps like Apple Health, Peloton, Polar Flow, Strava, and more.

Other features of the earbuds include a new 10mm transducer that Sennheiser claims will be able to deliver “vivid sound and impressive bass”. There is also an acoustic relief channel that helps relieve some of the pressure normally associated with this type of earbuds design. There is also active noise cancellation so you can block out environmental sounds and enjoy your workout in peace.
The earbuds will last up to six hours of and a total of 24 hours with the charging case. They are priced at $329.95 and will be available for purchase on the 9th of April.
