Lenovo LOQ: Making gaming PCs and laptops more accessible

Gaming PCs and laptops usually get a bad rap for being expensive. In a way it’s understandable. It’s usually the CPU and GPUs that end up being the most pricey. If you’re looking for a gaming PC or laptop that won’t break the bank, Lenovo has announced its new series of LOQ PCs and laptops at CES 2024.

With the LOQ series of desktops and laptops, Lenovo has assembled a bunch of different configurations. This includes various CPU and GPU options whether you’re an Intel orAMD user. There are also NVIDIA GPUs to choose from, ranging from the 20, 30, and 40 series of laptop GPUs.

The LOQ laptops boast a new hyperchamber design. This is to help keep the CPUs cool, allowing users to go all out. It also ensures that fan noise is kept to the minimum in case these things bother you. Seeing as how AI is the buzzword of the season, the laptops will feature the use of Lenovo’s LA1 AI chip. The use of AI will allow the laptop to make smarter decisions when deciding how much performance to put out.

The laptops also come with display options where gamers can choose refresh rates of 144Hz or 165Hz, and the keyboards also feature RGB lighting.

Lenovo LOQ desktop

As for the Lenovo LOQ desktops, it will come with a redesigned 17L chassis. Intel’s 13th Gen Core i7-14700 CPU will be one of the options offered. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU is also a configurable option. Users can also equip the desktop with up to 32GB of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM.

As we previously mentioned, these desktops and laptops are designed to be affordable. The Lenovo LOQ laptops will be priced starting at $749 while the desktop will be priced starting at $899. They are expected to be available this coming April.
