Earlier this month, Nubia announced that their next-gen flagship phone, the Redmagic 9 Pro, would be launching in international markets. If you’re interested in picking up the phone, then you might be pleased to learn that pre-orders are now live from the official Redmagic website where the phone will be priced starting at $799.
The Redmagic 9 Pro is part of Nubia’s series of gaming handsets. It will also be one of the early handsets to take advantage of Qualcomm’s recently-launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to power the majority of flagship phones in 2024.
Other features of the Redmagic 9 Pro include a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2480×1116 resolution along with a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts peak brightness of 1,600 nits and comes with 12-16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone also packs a triple camera which includes a 50MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 50MP wide, with a 16MP selfie cam.
The phone also comes with an internal fan that can reach speeds of 22,000 RPM, allowing gamers to play games for an extended period of time without worrying about their phones overheating. According to the company, the fans can decrease core CPU temperatures by as much as 25C.
There are also built-in pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a gaming mode, and a 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging.
