Samsung’s Self-Repair Program Now Includes its Foldables

A while back, Samsung introduced its Self-Repair program which essentially allows users to fix their Samsung devices using genuine parts and official repair guides and resources. With that in mind, the company recently announced that it has expanded its program to include its foldable devices. According to an official statement from Samsung:

“For the first time, Samsung is expanding the program to Galaxy foldables, including the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5. This offers Galaxy users extra convenience and choice to get more out of their devices by extending the life of their products.”

First launched in 2022, Samsung’s Self-Repair program initially arrived for users in the United States, followed by South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, and a number of regions in Europe. Users will have access to official Samsung parts in order to repair their devices. More recently, the program has expanded to 30 additional countries in Europe, such as Denmark, Greece, Hungary and Portugal.

With that being said, Samsung states that more devices will be included in the program soon, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Book2 Pro series.
