The OnePlus 12’s global launch date might have been revealed

0

Last week, OnePlus officially took the wraps off their next-gen flagship phone, the OnePlus 12. Unfortunately, the launch was only for China but the company did note that a global launch would eventually take place, but stopped short of mentioning when, but we might now know when it will be.

According to a report from Hardware Info, the publication attended a OnePlus community event in Antwerp, Belgium last week where executive Alexander Vanderhaeghe was reportedly quoted as saying that the 23rd of January, 2024 is when the launch of the OnePlus 12 would take place for Europe and the rest of the world.

It should be noted that the post has since been taken down, but assuming the information is correct, we have a little over a month before we’ll be able to get our hands on the device. There was no mention of pricing, but seeing as this is a flagship phone, we would expect it to be priced similarly to the OnePlus 11.

The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will also feature a new display with an insane level of brightness where it can get up to 4,500 nits in peak brightness. Hopefully OnePlus will have something more official to share in the near future, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled!
