Samsung Galaxy S24 could go head to head with the Pixel 8’s AI

0

When it comes to smartphone AI, Google is the undisputed leader in this regard. Many of the awesome Pixel 8’s features (and its predecessors before it) rely heavily on AI, giving Google an edge over other smartphones. But it looks like Samsung isn’t going to take this lying down.

According to an exclusive report from SamMobile, they have been tipped that one of the bigger changes we can expect in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is the introduction of new AI features, where users can look forward to AI features found on other AI like ChatGPT and even Google Bard.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Samsung trying to develop its own AI features, but previously, the company’s rumored generative AI efforts were said to be limited to internal use only. If this report is true, it looks like Samsung is looking to expand its AI availability to consumers as well.

Back in the day of the virtual assistant wars, many companies tried their hand at making their own, but some, including Samsung, have fallen a bit short compared to competitors like Google and Amazon. It is unclear how Samsung’s AI will fare against the likes of Google’s, so we’ll have to wait and see.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will most likely be announced in the early part of 2024, possibly in January, so check back with us then if you’d like to learn more.
