Samsung could be working on a “retro” version of the Galaxy Z Flip 5

0

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes in a bunch of color options, which for the most part are pretty bright and fresh-looking. For those who want a more “serious” or somber-looking colorway, you could be in luck because according to renders shared by MsPowerUser, it seems that Samsung could be working on a new variant of the phone.

The report claims that a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro Edition could be in the works. For the most part, the phone will remain identical in terms of hardware to the current foldable phone, where the main difference will be the color where it will sport a new, darker, and more serious-looking blue panel.

We’re not sure what so “retro” looking it is about this color, but it is possible that Samsung could be paying homage to the Galaxy S3, where one of the color options was also a deep/dark blue. It is also unclear if this variant will come with additional goodies or if it will simply be a new color option that users can choose from.

Either way, we’ll have to wait and see. There’s currently no word on when this retro edition of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will launch, but hopefully we’ll have more details in the coming weeks or months.
