It’s a little early, but specs of the Exynos 2500 have leaked online

Come 2024, Samsung will be launching their Galaxy S24 smartphones and the rumors are claiming we could see the return of the Exynos chipset, or more specifically, the Exynos 2400. Now according to a tweet by @OreXda, it seems that potential specs of the Exynos 2500, which will most likely launch in 2025, have leaked online.

Assuming these specs are accurate, it seems that the Exynos 2500 will maintain the same deca-core configuration as the Exynos 2400. The main difference would be how it is configured.

Right now based on the rumors, the Exynos 2400 will feature a single Cortex-X4 prime CPU core, followed by five performance cores, and four efficiency cores. The difference in the Exynos 2500 is that in the performance core section, there will be three that will be clocked at faster speeds and two at slower speeds, versus the Exynos 2400 which has two clocked at faster speeds and three at slower speeds.

On paper this should result in the Exynos 2500 being a more powerful chipset, but exactly how much more powerful remains to be seen. It is also rumored to be built on Samsung Foundry’s 3nm process, which once again on paper should make it a more powerful and efficient chipset. How it will hold up against the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is unclear, but it’s too early to tell so take it all with a grain of salt for now.
