We’ve been hearing rumors and seeing leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE for a while now, and it looks like the handset is officially here where it will be priced at a slightly more affordable $599.
So, what can you expect from the phone? In terms of design, it seems that Samsung hasn’t really deviated from the design of their original Galaxy S23 series. The FE model will come with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which is honestly pretty decent.
Under the hood, Samsung did not mention which chipset will be used other than to say it will be powered by a “powerful octa-core processor”, but we did hear rumors that it could use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chipsets depending on the region you’re in.
The cameras on the phone include a 50MP main shooter, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto with support for 3x optical zoom. It will also come with 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W charging. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor and the phone will be available in either a Mint, Graphite, Cream or Purple finish.
It will be going on sale on the 5th of October in select regions followed by a release in the US market on the 26th of October.
