Google is no stranger to online leaks, with several of its products including the Pixel Watch, Pixel 6a, and Pixel 7a (to name a few) being revealed to online audiences way before the company made its formal announcement. In any case, this hasn’t stopped Google from pushing forward with its events, which admittedly pack a bit more flair and suspense as compared to internet leaks (which are undeniably thrilling in their own way).
It’s predicted that the Pixel 8 will be priced at $699, while the more expensive 8 Pro model will start at $899. Both phones will come with Google’s new Tensor G3 chip, which is expected to feature improvements for performance and battery life.
