It hasn’t really been a huge secret that Xiaomi has been working on new phones, in particular, the Xiaomi 13T series, the follow-up to the Xiaomi 13 lineup that was launched earlier this year.
For those who are wondering when we might see these new phones, you won’t have to wait much longer. This is according to a post on X by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun who confirmed that the new Xiaomi 13T series will be officially launching on the 26th of September. The company will be live streaming the event starting at 2PM GMT+2.

As for official specs, the company’s CEO kept mum but the teaser poster does confirm that the upcoming phones will feature Leica branded cameras as part of Xiaomi’s ongoing partnership with the famed camera company. But in terms of rumors, we have heard that the phones will share similar specs with each other.
This includes a 5,000mAh battery, 144Hz refresh rate displays, along with an IP68 rating. There are rumors of a Pro model as well, which presumably will offer higher-end specs, but we’ll have to wait for the official announcement for confirmation. So if you’re keen on the new phones, mark the 26th of September down on your calendars and check back with us for more updates.
