JBL’s new LIVE headphones offer some pretty amazing battery life

We love wireless headphones and earbuds. Not having to deal with tangled wires is such a relief, but the problem with wireless audio products is battery. Having your headphones die on you halfway because you forgot to charge can be annoying, so if you’re looking for headphones that can last you a while, JBL’s got you covered.

The company has announced two new additions to its LIVE series of headphones in the form of the JBL LIVE 770NC and JBL LIVE 670NC. Feature wise, both models are essentially identical. Both will feature JBL’s Signature Sound thanks to its 40mm drivers, they also support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and True Adaptive Noise Canceling with Smart Ambient technology.

Both also come with two beamforming microphones that can help pick up your voice better during calls, and also support JBL Spatial Sound. They also offer pretty amazing battery life, with JBL claiming that users can get up to 50 hours on a single charge with Bluetooth and ANC enabled, or up to 65 hours without.

So, what’s the difference? The JBL LIVE 770NC are a pair of over-ear headphones, meaning that they rest over your ears, while the JBL LIVE 670NC are on-ear headphones, meaning that they rest on your ears, so it really depends on your preference. The headphones are priced at €179.99 and €129.99 respectively and will be available for order today.
