The consumer headphone space, Jabra is pretty well-known for putting out some very decent-performing headphones and earbuds. If you’re a fan of the brand or if you’re simply looking for an alternative to the other brands and models out there, you might be interested to learn that Jabra has announced a couple of new models to its Elite lineup.
This comes in the form of the Elite 8 Active and the Elite 10, both of which have been designed for different types of users and purposes.
Starting with the Elite 8 Active, as its name implies, these earbuds have been created with more active users in mind. The earbuds themselves feature an IP68 rating which makes them both dust and water-resistant, making them ideal for those who lead an active lifestyle and might want to gym or run with the earbuds and don’t want to worry about sweat or water damaging them.
The earbuds have also feature Jabra’s ShakeGrip design that will allow for a more secure fit so that they won’t fall out halfway through your gym or running sessions. The earbuds feature 6mm speakers and also offers an Adaptive Hybrid ANC, along with a whopping six microphones. As for battery life, the Elite 8 Active claims to be able to last 8 hours with ANC on, and up to 32 hours when used with its charging case.
If you’re simply after a pair of earbuds to listen to music, watch movies, or answer calls on, then maybe the Jabra Elite 10 might be a better fit. Speaking of fit, the earbuds feature Jabra’s ComfortFit design that allows the earbuds to be worn for extended periods of time thanks to its ability to relieve in-ear pressure.
In terms of sound quality, the Elite 10 comes with 10mm speakers and with Jabra’s Advanced ANC tech, it offers up to 2x more noise cancellation. There is also support for Spatial Audio with Dolby Head Tracking and Dolby Atmos, and with six built-in microphones, you can rest assured that your voice will be picked up clearly.
Battery life of the Elite 10 is rated at up to 6 hours with ANC enabled, 8 hours without, and up to 27 hours when used with its charging case.
