Renders of Motorola Edge 2023 have leaked

0

The last time Motorola released an Edge phone, it was earlier this year in the form of the Motorola Edge+. But if the price tag of the Edge+ is a bit too much for you, then you might be interested to learn that Motorola could be following up with a lower-priced model.

This is thanks to a leaked render obtained by the folks at Pricebaba which shows off the upcoming Motorola Edge (2023). The specs of the handset are unknown as this point, but seeing as how it lacks the “plus” moniker, there’s a good chance that it will be a mid-range Android phone, similar to its 2022 sibling which was actually a pretty good value for money smartphone.

What’s interesting though are the cameras on the phone. The 2022 Motorola Edge came with a triple camera setup on the back, while these renders suggest that the 2023 model could only pack a dual camera setup. To be fair, the third camera on the 2022 model was just a 2MP depth camera which is honestly not too important, so if Motorola is ditching it for the 2023 model we can’t say we’re too bummed.

As for pricing, that is also unclear. The Motorola Edge 2022 was priced at $600 which isn’t too shabby for its specs, so there is a good chance the Motorola Edge 2023 could come in at roughly the same price or stay within the same range, but we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to get a better idea.
