The growing influx of smartwatches in the past few years has essentially given buyers more accessible means and choices when it comes to smart wearables, with several manufacturers each offering something new to the table. More recently, new teasers showcasing Oppo’s upcoming Oppo Watch 4 have appeared online, giving us a preview of what to expect.
The images were shared on Chinese social networking site Weibo, and highlight some of the Oppo Watch 4’s features. Given the hardware specs sheet, it’s expected that the watch will launch with Google’s Wear OS platform onboard.
Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable system, which will be aided by a BES 2700 co-processor. Based on the images, it also looks like the watch will feature a squared-off design, which looks a bit similar to the Apple Watch series devices.
Other hardware details mentioned indicate that the Oppo Watch 4 Pro will come with an LTPO AMOLED touch display, alongside 2GB of RAM. The device will come with a wide variety of sensors including a temperature sensor, ECG sensor, as well as improved heart rate and SPO2 sensors. The device is expected to pack a 570 mAh battery inside.
