Lenovo’s Windows-Powered Handheld Leaks Online
It seems that gaming handhelds have been making a big return in the past couple of years, from dedicated systems like the Nintendo Switch, ANBERNIC’s enthusiast emulation devices, cloud-based handhelds from Razer and Logitech, as well as an onslaught of Windows-powered devices from ASUS and AYA NEO.
With that being said, it looks like another big brand is set to join the ranks of Windows-based portable gaming handhelds, thanks to some new leaks from the folks over at Windows Report. veteran PC brand Lenovo is reported to be working on the “Lenovo Legion Go”, which so far looks to be a pretty awesome device.
Based on the renders, the device does lean towards a chunky build, although it comes with a more utilitarian design on the front. It comes with the usual set of controls buttons, although it does add some side and back triggers. Other hardware details include two USB-C ports, a headphone jack, volume rocker, and micro SD card slot.
It does adopt some familiar design elements though, as seen on systems like the Nintendo Switch for example. The Lenovo Legion Go will have removable controller grips (much like the Switch Joycons), as well as a built-in kickstand on the rear.
At the moment, there aren’t any specific details regarding internal specs, pricing or availability, but we wouldn’t be surprised if more info pops up online soon.
