While Samsung has certainly been leading the charge when it comes to foldable phones, other companies have also been stepping up their efforts. Following the launch of Samsung’s latest foldables, Xiaomi will be next to unveil their new handsets, according to a teaser post on X by the company’s CEO Lei Jun.
According to Lei Jun, the company will be officially taking the wraps off the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 on the 14th of August. The accompanying image shows the back of the phone where it appears to sport a quad camera setup along with the Leica badge, showing off the company’s continued partnership with the legendary camera company.

What’s interesting is Lei Jun’s caption in the post, where he says that the Mix Fold 3’s product features will have “no shortcomings”, and that the phone will apparently set the future of foldables. We suppose we should expect this kind of hyperbole from the company’s CEO, but it will be interesting to see what kind of features the Mix Fold 3 will have that will set it apart from the competition.
Either way we’ll know more next week on the 14th of August, so be sure to check back with us then for all the details!
