Motorola fans in India are in for a treat – the company has announced that it will be launching its latest addition to the “G” device range, its midrange line of Android-powered devices. More specifically, Motorola says that it will bring the Moto G14 to Indian markets, which comes with some wallet-friendly hardware and software features.

For starters, the phone packs a 6.5-inch HFD+ resolution display, and will run on the rather modest Unisoc T616 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Moto G14 will also ship with Android 13 pre-installed, although it is expected to get up to three years of security patches, in addition to an upgrade to Android 14.

Other hardware details include a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens, IP52 certification for dust and splash protection, a 5000 mAh battery, as well as support for 20W charging speeds. The Moto G14 will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As for pricing and availability, the phone will be sold in blue and grey versions, and will start at around $120 (when converted) from August 8.
