Following reports that Huawei’s next flagship phone will come with its own version of the Dynamic Island notch, it looks like a new leak showcasing the design of the Huawei Mate 60 has appeared online, giving a glimpse into the upcoming handset’s physical design.
More specifically, it appears that online bloggers have shared a couple of photos of the Huawei Mate 60’s mold, which indicates that the device will come with a circular camera module on the rear panel. There’s an additional area underneath the camera module that shows what is likely to be a wireless charging access point.
While circular camera modules aren’t anything new, this new development at least shows us what to expect from the Huawei Mate 60 in terms of design. The leaks do state that the arrangement of the camera lenses has been altered, versus the one found on the Mate 50.
In other Huawei-related news, it’s expected that the manufacturer’s next smartphone will feature a camera design similar to the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island cutout. Leaked renders show that the Mate 60 Pro will feature a 3D time-of-flight sensor inside the pill cutout on its display, for better security, in addition to an interactive area above the display.
