Tracking your sleep has become increasingly popular over the years. This is largely thanks to the advancement of technology that has allowed developers to create apps that run off our phones or smartwatches, no longer requiring big and bulky, not to mention expensive, equipment.
With a plethora of sleep tracking apps out there today, you might find it hard to pick one, but if you want one that’s fun and cute, then Pokémon Sleep might be worth checking out. The app was initially announced back in 2019 but was delayed throughout the years, and now following a soft launch in Canada, it has finally made its way to the US.
Just in case you’re wondering what the app does, it basically tracks your sleep. Based on the data it collects, it will be able to tell you how well your sleep was. It will also be able to show you data like how much time you spent snoring, thanks to a built-in audio recorder that captures sounds when it happens (some users have even had their farts recorded).
For those who might be wary about keeping their phones too close to them when they’re sleeping, The Pokemon Company is selling the Pokémon Go Plus+ accessory (not to be confused with the Pokemon Go Plus) that more or less does the same thing at a press of a button.
If you want to check out the app, it is available for download from the Play Store.
