OnePlus has been in the new a lot lately, following the launch of the new Nord 3 midrange phone, as well as the abundance of OnePlus 12 leaks that have been floating around online. With that in mind, the company is in the spotlight once again, although not for the reason you might expect.
To be more specific, OnePlus will be bringing its Keyboard 81 Pro – yes, you read that right – to buyers in the USA and Canada. Announced last year, the Keyboard 81 Pro has been made available in several regions to date, with the exception of North America, at least until now.
Made possible via a collaboration with Keychron, the mechanical keyboard will be available on July 26, 2023 for $219 and CAD 299. The keyboard comes with 81 keys, as well as a dial on the upper right corner. It will also be available in interestingly-named “Summer Breeze” and “Winter Bonfire” color variants.
While OnePlus is more known for its smartphones, the company has since ventured out to explore different product categories, including wearables, and more recently tablets. It should be noted though that the Keyboard 81 Pro seems to be a rebranded variant of a pre-existing Keychron keyboard, which has long been available on the market now.
