Twitter is finally making it easier for creators to earn money from its platform

While Twitter is one of the bigger social networks around, it has never really been seen as a platform for creators to make money from. This is unlike YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, where many people have made a living for themselves by posting to those platforms and earning money through it.

That being said, for those who do tweet a lot, your chance to earn money has come. Twitter has announced a new Creator Ads Revenue Sharing program, which as its name implies, is where creators can now get a cut from ads so that they can make money just by tweeting.

Of course, it won’t be open to just anyone. According to this help page, Twitter says that to be eligible users will first have to be either subscribed to Twitter Blue or be a verified organization, have at least 5 million impressions in their posts in the last 3 months, and pass the human review for Creator Monetization Standards.

This new program isn’t the only way for creators to monetize their content, but we imagine it will be easier. Some of the other monetization methods from Twitter includes Amplify Pre-Roll or Amplify Sponsorships for videos, or to create a subscription that their followers can pay money to subscribe to.
