Samsung Galaxy S21 FE relaunched with Snapdragon 888 chipset

It was only recently that Samsung switched over (almost) exclusively to Qualcomm’s chipsets for their phones. Before that, the company relied on a mix of Qualcomm’s chipsets and its own Exynos chipsets depending on the region that the phone was being sold in, which irked some customers as they felt that they were being “cheated”.

That being said, one of the last few Samsung phones to continue to follow this practice was the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which was initially sold with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chipset, but now it appears that Samsung has decided to relaunch the phone where it will now only be packing the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The rest of the specs will remain the same, so the only difference will be that regardless of where the phone is sold in, it will only be available in the Snapdragon 888 configuration. We should note that as of now, the relaunch of the Galaxy S21 FE has only taken place in India. It is unclear if there are plans to bring it to other markets, but with the Galaxy S23 FE reportedly launching soon, we probably wouldn’t hold our breath for it.

The phone will be priced at around $607 after conversion, which is still a little pricey for a phone that’s old by tech standards, but for our readers in India who might be keen on picking it up, you can.
