The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could be getting a re-release

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was released back in 2022 and was marketed as a more affordable version of the 2021 Galaxy S21. This year some are anticipating that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S23 FE, but now a rumor from @tarunvats33 suggests that we could be in for a surprise.

According to the tweet, apparently Samsung could be looking to relaunch the Galaxy S21 FE, except that this time, it will only be available in the Snapdragon 888 variant. For context, when the phone launched last year, it was available in either the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 configuration, depending on which market it was being sold in.

For some countries like India, they got the Exynos model, and given how contentious Samsung’s Exynos chipsets are, it might be a good thing that Samsung will now only sell the Qualcomm version. That being said, the tweet mentions that the relaunch will take place in India.

It is unclear if this means that the phone will only be available in India, or if India will be one of the markets the handset will be available in. The tweet also claims that the phone will be sold for around 40,000 rupees, which is about $487 when converted. We’re a bit iffy on the price because at close to $500, there are better phones out there so we’re not sure how well received this relaunch will be, but since Samsung hasn’t announced anything yet, take it with a grain of salt.
