Earlier this month, it was reported that Samsung could be looking to launch the Galaxy S23 FE this year. This is kind of a pleasant surprise as some thought that the FE series could be dead.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, but a recent report from MySmartPrice has revealed that the handset could indeed be on its way. This is thanks to a sighting on the 3C certification website where some of the handset’s specs have been revealed. This includes how it will support 5G connectivity and that its charging speed will be at 25W.
As for the rest of the specs, that’s anyone’s guess, but the rumor mill is claiming that the phone will be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset or the Exynos 2200. It is also rumored to pack a 6.4-inch display and will be accompanied by a triple camera setup with a 50MP main.
What’s also interesting is that the Galaxy S23 FE might not be the only FE phone coming this year. A recent rumor suggests that Samsung could be looking to relaunch the Galaxy S21 FE, where they will re-release the model with only the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, instead of having a model that also comes with an Exynos chipset. Hopefully Samsung will have something official to announce soon, so stay tuned for updates!
