Samsung has not abandoned its Note 20 Ultra customers just yet

By now it’s probably safe to assume that Samsung has officially moved away from its Note series for good. The company has brought pretty much all the features of the Note and put it into its Galaxy S Ultra series so there’s really no need for the device to exist anymore.

That being said, we imagine that some of you out there are still holding onto your old Note handsets, and we have some good news on that front. It appears that despite the Note lineup no longer being made, Samsung is still looking out for its users.

This is according to a tweet by user @CoconutShawarma who claimed that after installing the latest update on his dad’s Note 20 Ultra phone, the handset started to display weird green lines on its display. When he reached out to Samsung, the company actually replaced the screen and the phone’s battery for free, even though it is no longer covered under warranty.

This is actually pretty nice of Samsung, so if you are experiencing something similar, you can reach out to Samsung and see if they will fix it for you for free. That being said, it’s not the first time companies like Samsung have gone above and beyond for customers even though their devices are no longer officially being supported for updates or under warranty, but it’s still nice to see that they care.
