For a lot of video game enthusiasts, Razer’s brand of accessories and gear are some of the most popular out there, going beyond gaming peripherals and tapping into other categories including audio and content creation. With that in mind, the company recently announced the launch of its newest wireless earbuds, the Razer Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed buds.
The Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed earbuds are compatible with several platforms including PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, and even smartphones. The earbuds pack several features including customizable active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz connectivity, fast wireless charging, and customizable RGB lighting. Additionally, Razer says that the Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed comes with THX® Certification.
The earbuds are also designed with built-in sound modes including ambient mode and gaming mode, in addition to the active noise cancelling feature.
The Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed also comes with a design that blends minimalism with Razer’s signature RGB look – the earbuds feature a rather sleek-looking black finish, with long stems on each earbud. For added connectivity, there’s a bundled wireless dongle that allows devices without native Bluetooth capabilities to connect to the earbuds.
For battery life, Razer says that the earbuds can last a total of 24 hours with occasional top-ups from the charging case, which is compatible with both wired USB-C and Qi wireless charging. In terms of availability, the Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed earbuds will come priced at $199.99, and will be available via Razer’s online and physical stores, as well as authorized retailers on May 30.
