Samsung’s Galaxy Watch device series has undoubtedly been one of the more popular Wear OS options on the market, thanks to a combination of seamless software functionality combined with a sleek design. The product range has seen quite a bit of change in design in the past year however, especially with regards to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which featured a different approach to style compared to the Watch 4 Classic and earlier models.
It looks like Samsung is looking to change up things again, however – new leaked product renders from the folks over at MySmartPrice and OnLeaks show that Samsung’s next premium smartwatch variant might lean towards a familiar design, one that we saw on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. If these leaks prove to be true, we might once again be treated to a rotating bezel design on the Galaxy Watch 6.
The leaks adds that the Galaxy Watch 6 will retain the “Classic” branding, and will be one of two Samsung wearables to be revealed this year at Samsung Unpacked. It’s also rumored that the Watch 6 Classic will come with a 1.47-inch display with a 470 x 470 pixel resolution, and a 425 mAh battery.
The older design was notable for using a rotating bezel for UI navigation, which disappeared on the Watch 5 series. Instead, Samsung used a “digital” touch-based bezel for its current premium wearable, which has been a point of contention for some fans and users.
