Nokia users, rejoice – if you happen to own a Nokia 2.4, then you might want to check if the latest software update from Nokia is now available for your device. Nokia’s been updating a lot of its older handsets lately, and the 2.4 is one of the newest devices to receive the May 2023 software patch.
According to a report from the folks over at Nokiamob, the software update for the Nokia 2.4 comes with the May 2023 security patch, and weighs in at just 40MB. The update comes with version number 00WW_3_470_SP02, and was first spotted for Nokia 2.4 devices in French regions, although it should be available for more markets now.
With that said, the Nokia 2.4 is a pretty old device by now, although it’s great to see Nokia continue support for the phone. The handset was launched back in 2020, and featured a 6.5-inch display, a 13MP main camera, up to 3GB of RAM, a MediaTek Helio chipset, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
To check if your phone has the update, simply go to your Settings App > System > System Update to check for any available updates.
