The arrival of HTC’s new phone seems to signal that the company – once at the top of the Android game – might be pushing for a comeback of sorts. Announced just earlier today, the HTC U23 Pro comes with a commendable set of specs which should prove to be a tempting offer for first-time HTC buyers, and fans of the veteran brand.
With that in mind, interested buyers in the United Kingdom can now pre-order the HTC U23 Pro, which is scheduled to ship out in June. Priced at £499, the phone will be available in a “Coffee Black” variant, which ships out on the 5th of June, while a “Snow White” version will begin shipping out on the 18th of June.
In terms of hardware, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by up to12GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display that sports a Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s cameras include a 108MP main shooter that supports OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The U23 Pro will ship out with Android 13, and will also be preinstalled with the VIVERSE app with compatibility for HTC’s VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset. Additionally, buyers who pre-order the U23 Pro earlier on via HTC.com will receive a pair of HTC True Wireless Earbuds Plus for free, as part of a bundle.
