Another day, another Nokia software update – if you own the rugged Nokia XR20 or the midrange Nokia G50, then you might want to check if your device is eligible for the latest security patch.
As reported by the team over at Nokiamob, Nokia Mobile has rolled out updates for the aforementioned phones, which bring some fixes for security, as well as the Android 13 build update for April, and improvements to system and the UI.
The April update for the Nokia XR20 comes with version number V3.340 and weighs in at 517MB, while the Nokia G50 will get update version V3.310, weighing in at a slightly larger 547MB.
In other Nokia news, a new Nokia model was recently spotted for US markets, known as the “C300.” The phone is targeted at entry-level consumers, and will be sold unlocked for use with different networks including AT&T, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS to name a few, although it will be limited to 4G connectivity.
Going back to the April software patch, the update should be available globally, and you can check for it by going into your Settings > System > System Update to check if the update is available for your phone.
