Nokia has been releasing updates left and right lately, with some of its handsets even receiving the latest Android 13 software update. More recently, it looks like a couple more Nokia phones have gotten new software and security patches.
A report from the team over at Nokiamob reveals that the Nokia G21 and Nokia 2.4 have received new software patches. The G21 has received Android 13 in select markets, but the update shown in the report points to a simpler Android 12 build update, which comes in weighing at 2GB. As for the Nokia 2.4, the phone received the April 2023 security patch, which comes in at 28MB.
In other recent Nokia news, it looks like the company is getting ready to launch a new affordable rugged phone, in the form of the Nokia XR21, succeeding the Nokia XR20 from a couple of years back. The new phone likewise features a rugged design, although it will come with midrange hardware specs.
If you own the Nokia G21 and/or the Nokia 2.4, you can check if your device is eligible for the new software updates by heading into your Settings App > System > System Update to prompt your device to check for any new updates.
