Geekbench Listing Teases Dimensity 9200+ Performance Scores

While MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9200+ SoC is still officially under wraps at the moment, the internet hasn’t slowed down in trying to get a preview of what we can expect from the company’s upcoming chipset, which so far is looking to be a rather powerful one.

More specifically, the Dimensity 9200+ was spotted via a Geekbench 6 listing spotted online, which showcased some details regarding the chipset. A screenshot posted on Chinese social media site Weibo shows scores of 5,655 points in multi-core and 2,121 points in single-core performance.

Additionally, the test shows that the chipset is running in a Vivo-branded device, rumored to be the X90s. This score brings the chip close to performance scores seen on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Apple A16 Bionic, at least on paper.

The Dimensity 9200+ is scheduled to be released on May 10, the same day as Google’s I/O conference. At the moment, it’s expected that the chipset will feature a Cortex-X3 main core clocked at 3.35 GHz, and will be backed by 3x Cortex-A175 cores ticking at 3.0 GHz and 4x small Cortex-A510 cores. In any case, all will be revealed once MediaTek finally holds its formal release event this May.
