OnePlus wants you to take a chance on its tablet with this blind sale

After years of rumors, OnePlus officially announced its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, at an event last month. The tablet isn’t available for purchase yet, but if you are interested in the device, maybe you’re a fan of the design or you just like OnePlus as a brand, OnePlus has an interesting proposition for you.

The company has announced what they are calling a “Blind Sale”. This is basically where you can drop $99 as a deposit for the tablet and nab yourself a bunch of freebies in the process. The freebie in question is either the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard or the OnePlus Stylo (a stylus), and you can expect early shipping which kicks off on the 8th of May, 2023.

If anything, it sounds more like a pre-order/reservation of sorts, but what’s interesting is that the full price of the tablet is anyone’s guess right now. According to OnePlus, the full price will only be revealed on the 25th of April, which means that you’re taking a chance on the tablet being more expensive than what you imagined.
