Nokia has been in the news a lot lately, especially with the debut of its new digital product interface, as well as wanting to put 4G connectivity on the moon. With that said though, the Finnish brand is still mostly known for its smartphones and mobile accessories, and it looks like several Nokia handsets have recently gotten software updates.
According to a report from the good folks over at Nokiamob, several devices including the Nokia XR20, G50, X30 5G, and X20 have gotten security patches for March 2023, although it should be noted that this is still the March 2023 patch. With the exception of the the Nokia X20, the March 2023 security patch for the other devices weighs in at around 90+ MB, and should be available in several regions worldwide.
In recent Nokia news, a recent CNBC report reveals that Nokia aims to establish 4G connectivity on the moon, according to a statement from Luis Maestro Ruiz De Temino, Nokia’s principal engineer, who spoke to the press during MWC 2023 back in February.
Going back to the security patch, users of the above devices can head into their Settings app to see if the system update is now available for their phone.
