One of the features of Google is that it allows users to search for flights and book tickets. This is more efficient than visiting each and every airline’s website and search for ticket prices one by one.
If you haven’t been using Google Flights to handle your ticket bookings, then you might want to reconsider that, especially since Google has recently updated the feature where they are now offering users a price guarantee. This means that when you see a ticket price that has the price guarantee badge, it means that this will be the best price you should be able to expect.
Even better, should this not be the case, Google will actually offer you a refund that will be credited to you via Google Pay. According to Google:
“We’ll monitor the price every day until departure, and if it does go down, we’ll send you back the difference via Google Pay. Now you can book with the confidence that you’re not missing out on a great deal. During this pilot program, price guarantees are only available for ‘Book on Google’ itineraries that depart from the United States.”
At the moment, this feature will only be available for US flights. We’re not sure if there are plans to eventually expand it to cover more flights, but it might be worth checking out if you’re looking for the best deals possible.
