A while back, rumors pertaining to an “Ultra” variant of the Xiaomi 13 series indicated that the phone was set to make an appearance sometime in the summer, following the global launch of the Xiaomi 13 series phones. At the moment, the phone is expected to appear sometime in May after an initial MWC appearance proved to be incorrect.

We might be getting closer to an actual device launch soon though – noted tech tipster Yogesh Brar listed several key specifications of the yet-to-be-released device, which packs some impressive hardware (if confirmed).
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 alongside 12 and 16GB RAM configurations, as well as 256 to 512GB of storage.
Other details include a multiple-camera array with a 50MP main lens, a 50MP ultrawide lens, 50MP zoom and telephoto lenses, as well as a 32MP front camera. The phone will ship with Android 13 and MIUI 14, and a 4,900 mAh with support for 90W fast-charging.
The post does specify that the listed specs are unofficial at this time, so it looks like we’ll have to standby until a formal confirmation (or more leaks) makes its way to the internet. For the meantime, Xiaomi fans will have to wait a bit longer for the 13 Ultra.
