The Jabra Elite 4 is cheaper than its predecessor, and that’s a good thing

Jabra is no stranger when it comes to true wireless earbuds. Not too long ago, the company launched the Elite 4 Active which was priced around $120, but if you felt that was a bit out of your price range and wanted something cheaper, then you’re in luck as the company has since announced the Elite 4.
These earbuds are priced $20 cheaper than the Active, meaning that they’ll come in at around $100. Now, given that these are cheaper, it does mean that you’ll be “sacrificing” certain features in the process. For example, instead of the IP57 rating you would find in the Active, the Elite 4 only has a rating of IP55.
Will this make a very big difference? If you primarily use it at the gym, then chances are the differences will be negligible and that you’ll still be able to use it and get it wet with a bit of sweat without any issue. The second difference is in its battery life. The Elite 4’s are rated for 5.5 hours of active listening, versus the 7 hours offered by the Active, so you might need to charge it more often than before, but unless you need to use the earbuds for many hours on end, this shouldn’t be that big of a deal either.
Despite those differences, the Elite 4 will still feature active noise cancellation, multipoint connectivity, and four microphones built into the earbuds.
