Here’s our first Glimpse at the Pixel 8 Pro’s Design

There’s been no shortage of Google leaks over the past year, seeing that devices like the Pixel Watch and more recently, the Pixel 7a, have been pretty much revealed to the public by this point. With that being said however, today’s new leak comes in the form of the Pixel 8 Pro, which has been revealed through several images online.

The leaked renders were released by the folks over at Smartprix, in collaboration with noted tech informant @OnLeaks from Twitter. As far as design goes, the Pixel 8 Pro retains a familiar design overall with some subtle differences. For one, the camera bar design that was introduced by Google with the Pixel 6 series, although the camera lens cutouts have now been shuffled around the back.

The phone also sports a more “curved” design, compared to the Pixel 6 and 7 which had a more rectangular look. The display remains mostly the same, with a central hole-punch cut-out, and will measure around 6.5 inches diagonally. Other details such as the button placement, as well as location of ports on the bottom of the phone have mostly remained the same from last year as well.

It’s very much expected that the Pixel 8 Pro could be teased in this year’s Google I/O conference, which is set to take place on May 10. The phone will presumably run on the Google Tensor G3 chipset, which at this point in time is predicted to be developed using Samsung’s manufacturing process.
