New ASUS ROG Phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Shows up on Geekbench

While gaming smartphones might now seem like a dime a dozen, there’s little doubt that ASUS still leads the pack when it comes to overall value and performance, especially for users looking for a phone more tailored to on-the-go gaming sessions. With that being said, it looks like might see the next ASUS ROG Phone soon, at least according to a sighting online.

A Geekbench entry shows what could be a phone in the upcoming ROG Phone 7 series, which is expected to launch wit three different variants. The listing shows the ASUS ROG Phone 7D (with model number AI2205_D) equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and Android 13. Test results show 2012 points for single core performance, with 5697 points for multi-core performance.
